Overall length: The distance from one end of the pull to the other end. This is always longer than the on-centre measurement.
Projection: This is how far the pull will stick out from the surface after installation - this does not factor into your measurements but is good to know.
Centre-to-centre: The distance from the centre of one screw hole to the centre of the other screw hole.
